Campaing watch blog

“Déli Riporter” writes about what seems to be the first Hungarian blog focused on political campaigns . What makes this time a good to point to start such an initiative is the upcoming elections in 2006. Currently it is too soon to tell whether it’s a natural point of view observer of the campaign or will it settle its “online vote” on one political side. It will be also interesting to see what role blogs will play in the upcoming elections.

Strange ADSL contract cancellations

In early august “Tékozló Homár” reported the case when T-online (the market leader ISP in Hungary) has cancelled the contract of its highest traffic customers. According to their subscription plan, these customers had “theoretically” unlimited download amount on ADSL provided by T-online bandwidth. The reason given by T-online stated that the service provision of these customers just too expensive. (According to one of those customers his/her usage was on an average 30% of the total bandwidth.)
