Conference blog
The first full scale Hungarian conference blog debuted yesterday at the conference called Internet Hungary 2005. Four bloggers report from the different panels that cover issue from economic and infrastructural challenges, through the much debated media regulation issues and to discussion on the state of Hungarian blogosphere. I can’t give you a full coverage now from the tons of post, I’ll try to write a short English summary next week.
The blog also gives space to some funny posts as :
” “He looks like a blogger” stated one of my fellow conference participant about a guy sitting in front of us wearing military pants and a black T-shirt. He seemed somewhat anti-social and at noon during the presentation of György Simó [Henrik’s note: the CEO of the largest Hungarian ISP] he grabbed his lunch from his backpack: a bologna sandwich and an apple. “Rather a hacker” modified my conference-mate the earlier opinion with some irony.
The first commend adds:
” I always thought hackers wear hooded Sepultura sweatshirts. So it seems the trend has changed
“
[Henrik’s note: based on foreign examples it will be interesting to see if there will be significant online discussion during and after the conference and whether or not upcoming conferences follow this nice example of blog coverage.]
