It started differently than what this blog covers today. Presently I write about Hungarian contemporary issues that I think are interesting, helpful or informative to an English speaking audience. But I keep the original intent visible below, because I have not given up reviving this idea, as I wrote in my Renewal post.

What is this blog?
I try to summaries stories and personal opinions I find on the Hungarian blogoshpere. Most of the entries I link to are in Hungarian, the minority are in English. I do not give a precise translation of all the text, but try to summarize to capture the essence. At the end of the entries you can find a link to the original post.
Why comments are not allowed at this blog?
About commenting on this blog
As you can see I originally did not wanted to allow commenting as I do not want to take away the discussion from the original blogs. But according feedbacks I have to revise it, as I understand many of you might feel uneasy to post English language comments in a Hungarian language discussion. So, here are some request for you - please post comments only in ENGLISH in the blog
- criticism is welcome, but no flaming, no inappropriate or aggressive language
- if you have comments about this blog please email me, keep this off the discussions of the topics themselves
- I'll try to clean spam regularly, but if you find any offensive spam material please notify me
I reserve the right to delete comments that do not fit the above guidelines, but I’ll only turn to that drastic measure if the comment is really out of boundaries. I’ll definitely never censor your opinion if you put in a way that fits the above outlines.
Do you think I missed an important story?
Yes, I might miss some of the interesting stuff as the Hungarian blogoshpere is fortunately starting to grow big. So please help me by sending a link to the blog and some comments on why you think that is important.
Do you think you could do this better?
Well, maybe you could :). If you want to help in editing this manual translation-aggregator let me know. Ideally I think at least 3-4 people should contribute to avoid my personal selection of articles bias the purpose of this blog. Please approach me if you have experience in both blogging and overviewing high amount of blog entries in a short period =). Or if you are ready to learn how to do that ;). Please note that this is not in any way for money. It is for the sake of giving the whole great world a better view on what’s going on in Hungary according to the Hungarian blogoshpere.
